Programmer / CAD Operator

General Description: Responsible for data organization and programming of CNC lasers in the engineering department.

Duties Include:

• Receive and organize data
• Operate various CAD systems to create CNC laser programs
• Create blank developments for CNC brake press
• Work with blueprints and drawings
• Communicate with customers, machine operators and sales department to resolve problems
• Save and distribute electronic files

Requirements:

• 3-5 years of experience using CAD programs such as Solidworks, Catia, Mastercam, Autocad etc.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs
• High School diploma or higher education level
• Prior relevant work experience
• Good communication skills
• Pass background check and drug screen
